This calendar entry originally appeared on December 28.  By way of further explanation:

In January of last year, I developed a schedule of 2022 solid waste collection dates in conjunction with AJ Blosenki (AJB) accounting for their holiday schedule and consistent with the general rule that holidays on, or observed on, Mondays would result in collection occurring on Wednesdays. That consensus schedule appeared on our website and other publications all year.

It appears that with staff turnover at AJB, they changed their preference for the week after the Christmas holiday and collection was Tuesday, December 27.  AJB has indicated they have insufficient staff to return Wednesday 12/28--the date originally shown on our website.  They have indicated that they will not enforce the usual volume limits on Tuesday, January 3 to account the missed homes and high holiday usage.
