Long neglected in history is the contributions of women. Our speaker is dedicated to changing that through historical markers. The Pennsylvania Women’s History Project has had twenty-three markers approved by the Pennsylvania Historical Commission and Museum. Known as “the marker lady” our speaker will share her work and information on the women and their accomplishments.

Presenter: Robyn Young is the author of “Women in Penn’s Woods: A History of Women in Pennsylvania.” She is the Pennsylvania State Coordinator for the National Votes for Women Trail, a committee of the National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites.
