In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, the East Brandywine Township Historical Commission is proud to host the America 250 Student Art Competition. This community initiative invites students to explore and express the meaning of America through art — reflecting on the nation’s history, values, culture, and future.
The competition is designed to encourage creativity, historical appreciation, and civic pride among students while providing an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents. Participants are invited to submit original artwork inspired by themes such as freedom, community, innovation, heritage, patriotism, and the American experience.
Winning entries will be recognized by the Township and displayed as part of the community’s America 250 celebration, highlighting the voices and perspectives of the next generation. Through this competition, East Brandywine Township hopes to honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future — one piece of art at a time.
