The East Brandywine Township Code (Chapter 105) requires a permit for any gathering or assembly of persons for the purpose of public entertainment, amusement, recreation, information or education, whether on private or public property, at which it is reasonably anticipated that more than 150 persons will attend.

East Brandywine Township Parks and Recreation has a policy of Carry In…Carry Out Trash. We are asking those visitors that reserve a pavilion to come prepared with bags and recycle containers to remove their own trash.

The East Brandywine Township Parks Rules prohibit signs in parks without prior written approval of the Township.

The East Brandywine Township Parks Rules prohibit sales of products, services (including not-for-profit fundraisers), or food without prior Township authorization.

Sales Policy*

This policy does not apply to my event.

I will be seeking approval of the Township to sell products to the public in the park.

Catering, including food trucks, may be made available for invited guests only without prior Township authorization. If food is to be sold to the public at an event, a copy of the vendor's Mobile Eating or Drinking License or Certificate of Registration to Operate a Temporary Food Facility must be submitted with your application and also be displayed at the site the day of the event. In addition, a copy of the proper licensing from the Chester County Health Department must be provided to East Brandywine Township and submitted with your application.

Insurance Information

Proof of Liability Insurance coverage is required for the following applications:
   1. Hosting a commercial event in park pavilions; or
   2. All athletic field reservations.

If required, all organizations and leagues shall secure and maintain, at no cost to East Brandywine Township, a comprehensive general liability insurance policy. The general liability insurance policy shall:
   a) Provide for East Brandywine Township, its officials, agents and employees as identified, as an additional named insured.
   b) Provide liability limits with per-occurrence and aggregate limits of not less than $1,000,000.
   c) The applicant shall, at the time of the submission of the application, file with East Brandywine Township certificate(s) of insurance evidencing insurance coverage in force prior to any field usage or activities.
   d) Be effective for all dates for which facilities are requested.
