East Brandywine Township is participating in a Paper Shredding & Electronic Waste Drop Off Collection on Saturday, June 2, 2018 to be held at the K-Mart parking lot on Lincoln Highway in Thorndale. Residents can bring up to 4 boxes of paper to be shredded.

This collection is free for South Coatesville Borough, Valley Township, Caln Township, East and West Brandywine Townships, and West Bradford Township only. Collection hours will from 9:00 am to Noon. Electronic collection will end when the truck is full. Accepted electronics include computers, LCD monitors, laptops, printers, cell phones, iPods, cables, open toner cartridges, networking equipment, digital cameras, and DVD/VCR players. CRT (cathode ray tube) televisions, CRT monitors, and LCD televisions will be accepted, but will be subject to a fee of $20 - $40 depending on the size of the device.

Scouts from Hopewell BSA Troop 8 will be in attendance to assist.
