A message from our friends at the Downingtown Area School District:
Your help is requested to reset District goals and objectives for the next few years.
When I came to the Downingtown Area School District in 2009, I asked stakeholders to participate in a survey to help us ‘purpose’ our future. Their answers expressed concerns about school overcrowding, unequal student distributions, the need for better communication, improved technology to accelerate the pace of work and learning in classrooms, greater fiscal responsibility, more academic rigor throughout our K-12 curriculum, and a stronger more concerted focus on professional development for improved student achievement. Since then, we have responded to those concerns.
With that backdrop, we need your input as to how we get even better. Through this instrument we are hoping to repurpose the organization for the next few years. I would appreciate it if you would take a few minutes to complete this survey. To continually improve, we need your assistance. Please take a few minutes to have input into the future of our schools and our community by completing this survey. This survey will be open until midnight April 12, 2015.
