We want this to be a fun event for our costumed characters, so we offer some safety tips:

• Go with a group, including a trusted adult.
• It is highly recommended that children remain in familiar neighborhoods.
• Carry a flashlight, wear a costume that can be easily seen in the dark or include a reflective bag or article of clothing to be seen.
• Watch when crossing any roadway for approaching vehicles.
• Have an adult check all candy or other items received when you arrive home to make certain they are safe. If you have any question, throw it away. If something looks suspicious, contact the Police Department.
• Most importantly, have a safe and fun Halloween.

Township Police Officers will be out in the neighborhoods with candy and glow sticks for the kids.
