East Brandywine Township has won two awards and the top honor - the Outstanding Citizen Communication Award - in the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors' (PSATS) Annual Citizen Communication Contest. The annual contest recognizes townships that have successfully communicated programs and activities to their residents.
In addition to the Outstanding Citizen Communication Award, East Brandywine Township also won first place in the Class 2 Newsletters category, and second place in the Websites category.
The association will present the township with the Outstanding Citizen Communication Award at PSATS' 95th Annual Educational Conference in Hershey, April 23-26, 2017, in front of more than 3,000 township officials from across Pennsylvania. The contest attracted entries from across the commonwealth in eight categories, including printed and electronic newsletters, most improved newsletters, other publications, audiovisual communication, cable TV programming, social media, and websites.
