Fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to East Brandywine Township as well as portions of West Brandywine, Wallace, and Upper Uwchlan Townships are provided by the volunteers of the East Brandywine Fire Company. When called upon, the company assists additional neighboring communities acting through mutual aid agreements.

The East Brandywine Fire Company currently has 43 volunteer firefighters and 4 EMS-only members. In 2013, these volunteers logged 5,335 hours of service on emergency calls. The company is located at 2096 Bondsville Road.

As an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit, financial support for the East Brandywine Fire Company comes from the municipalities served, member contributions, and donations from the community.
